Konnichiwa! Watashi no name wa Jannelle Salcedo desu~! Hello! My name is Jannelle Salcedo! Being an empowered woman is doing whatever you want despite certain stereotypes existing. There are two types of empowerment for me. One is self-empowerment and the other is to empower other women and oppressed parties as well. I, as an empowered woman and a proud feminist, fight for whatever I think is right. Media is a very powerful place to influence certain people and usually, there are people who talk about women in a stereotypical way. Whenever I see those posts, I create threads telling people how wrong those posts are. Women don't have this one personality. We have numerous characteristics that can be shared by men too. I don't only fight for women's rights because I think that being an empowered woman is not just about empowering yourself or women, it's also about empowering other people and inspiring minorities to speak up. It's important to let these minorities know that their opinions aren't any less valid. I don't only fight just for myself or for my gender. I fight for everyone to reach equality. This is what it means to be an empowered woman for me.

Hello! I am Anvilou Torres. Being an empowered woman means have self-determination and the ability to make free decisions (Geil,2014). I count myself as an empowered woman because of Geil's meaning of it. I am very determined in all the things that I do, whether I may receive something good or bad, I make it an inspiration to do better and to push myself even more to be the best I could. And I also believe that we have an ability to make free decisions. All our decisions are free, though limited, we just have to choose which one is the good and the bad.

Bonjour! I am Bea Balatbat. Being an empowered woman is using the gifts given by God for the benefit for the greater good. It is when you realize your potentials as a person without your gender being a hindrance, as perceived by society. Being an empowered woman means standing up for your values and rights as a person. You and I have a reason for being in the world; we have our own destinies and paths. As empowered women, let us go face our challenges with courage and faith.
Hi! My name is Raechell. As Miriam College High School students, we are taught and molded to be empowered women. For one to be such, she should be one of a kind in terms of beliefs and character. I, myself, for example is an empowered woman. Despite what other people think of me, I am still determined and positive about myself that I will succeed even with their negative judgements directed to me. There is this saying that goes, "Don't do unto others what you don't want them to do to you." As an empowered woman, I see to it that whenever I say anything, it does not offend anyone and informations are true.In the cyberspace a lot do not care about others and are self-self-centered. Doing something small for the society ,makes a big difference like when you respect others and they would feel good when they are shown respected to and they would do the same with their family and friends.
